Positive self talk: I bring all of me
to this life
The big me, the divine infinite me, is like an unlimited source of fuel. This source of fuel is connected to my body which, in this analogy, is like a lantern. The flame that burns in the lantern is my life. So my infinite self is the fuel, my body is the lantern, and my life is the flame.
There's also a valve that controls how much fuel is allowed to come into the lantern. When this valve is partially closed off, only a small fraction of the fuel comes into the lantern to power the flame. Perhaps my flame is itsy bitsy because I'm only letting in a limited percentage of the fuel that my lantern is actually designed to hold.
So I've got this tiny flame going on. In the meantime, the wind is howling and it's mightly dark. It's hard to see what's really going on and I'm bumping into the furniture. I certainly wouldn't be the first person to keep my light dim and live way smaller than I really am. Ouch. I just hit my elbow on the table. Bang. Something fell on the floor. But fumbling in the dark is just what it's like to be human, right? Or is it?
What if I allowed all of me in? Instead of toning it down, I toned it up. So now I'm shining way brighter, and I'm as strong as I really am designed to be. This unlimited, infinite, invincible huge self is me. This mightiness is me, and I need all of me right here, right now. We need everyone's mightiness right here, right now.
At any time, I can open the valve and let in way more fuel, way more me, way more light. The unlimited power of my luminescence is mine to claim. It's already been generously and unconditionally given to me.
What will I do and how will I play when I'm backed by the unlimited power of my infinite self? Who will I be with my wild kind heart, my immense love, my bold living, my truthful voice, my full presence, my roaring laughter, my real emotions, my creative mind, and my gentle healing hands?
Because this is where my wellbeing, my health, my joy and my power really lie: in my whole, infinite self. My wholeness. Now that's a beautiful word. Wholeness. My true self.
My self talk:
I allow myself to be the whole me.
I am whole.
I shine as bright as I am designed to.
I do not participate in the dimming of my own flame.
