Words of Inner Peace and a Christmas Green Tea Recipe

I’m sharing a Christmas tea recipe and a loving self talk message to support you in finding the spirit of joy and peace this holiday season. I’ve been joyously occupied creating tea blends for my new tea company Tea of Light launching in January, and this recipe is my favorite right now.

Enjoying this Christmas tea can be a moment just for you when you step away from the hectivity of the holidays. Set as your intention that as you enjoy the tea, you return to your center and let the rest of the world be for a few precious moments. As you give yourself this Love and care, your whole self will rejoice. This is especially important for those who take care of others.

This green tea recipe is called Merry and Bright. It’s a festive and happy Christmas tea. Green tea contains caffeine, so this is a great cup to have in the morning to set the tone for a wonderful day. This tea is fragrant, crisp, clean, fresh and pairs well with your favorite Christmas treat, as it cuts through the sweetness of baked goods.

Merry and Bright is like a cup of holiday wellness.  It contains some of my favorite botanicals – both for their taste and for the wellness properties they are said to contain. It has organic green tea, organic mint, organic rose petals and organic rose hips

Self-talk Words of Inner Peace
“May I be happy this holiday season.
May I rise to my best self.
May I be gentle with myself.
May I be peaceful, calm, tranquil.
May I be a shining Light.
May my heart illuminate and uplift everyone around me.”

Merry and Bright Organic green tea recipe for Christmas
✓ 2 teaspoons of your favorite organic green tea (I love kukicha or Japanese sencha)
✓ 1 teaspoon organic rose petals
✓ 1 teaspoon organic rose hips
✓ ½ teaspoon organic mint (peppermint and spearmint mix 50-50)

Gently mix all the ingredients together. The tea can be enjoyed right away or stored in an airtight container for a day or two to let the flavors come together.
Sip and be merry!
